Series of Robert Frost's poems
Used to study this great poet's poems for lit, and here's some of my favs.
The one about taking the road less travelled by has its own significance. Like today. Took the hopper to Jubilee campus, and was searching around for my destination when I found myself in the more remote parts of the area. I knew then that I must have overshot my target, but it brought new discoveries that took my breath away for a long while. Standing in the cold, sharp wind, I was somewhat mesmerised by the little waterfall and expense of unbordered lake that lay in front of me. I knew that Jubilee is pretty, but not this beautiful, and so...free? The rushing water and mini pebbled shore lining the lake's banks was really a beautiful sight to behold. The fact that the water was so close by, within reach, unhindered at all by any gates or fences made it feel free. (dangerous too, actually..=p)And for a long while, I just stood there watching the water gushing by, somewhat wistfully, and didn't even mind the howling wind for a bit! Until I realised that if I didn't rush soon, I might be late for class. Only then did I snap out of that moment, wrapped my coat around me tighter, and move on towards the correct place this time.
A road less travelled by revealed a quiet corner of amazing natural (or maybe it was man-made, but natural enough anyway) beauty. It was a walk to remember indeed. =)
