Just returned from a bbq at the picturesque millennium garden... a cosy little gathering of ppl of different Asian nationalities...Seated in a circle around the bbq pit on the gravel, basked in the soft beam of the setting sun...oh, and 1st time meeting xt who's here to meet j...somehow she reminded me of seng..heh..then we went into the usual round of "oh..do u know so-and-so...and that who.." Hmm.. S'pore is small enough for everyone to be linked to someone else by a friend..

Haha...played Zhong ji mi ma...with the forfeit food concoction getting more and more gross...eww...imagine..choco moouse + coke + bbq chicken + butter + honey....or the sandwich + sutsuma (??) + lettuce + tuna + butter + honey....etcetc..somehow whenever we play this game it's got to do with the consumption of disgusting food...bleargh...the only comfort one can get from being so 'lucky' in guessing the no. is that one is spared from the next level of yucky food-tasting fate. humph. =p

Yesterday's trip was quite enjoyable, but it left me pretty exhausted after that...actually slept thru' most of the journey back. Hee..goodgood..there's nothing much to see at night anyway, and plus I was told later on that we were stuck in a jam for quite a while..would have been quite sian diao being wide awake during the jam. But the jam meant that we arrived back here beyond our scheduled time...That, tog with the nearly 2hours where p and I were 'stranded' at milton keynes coachway, meant that we reached the city station at about 1am?? ...I was more bothered by the CoLd then the quietness. But thankfully we managed to get home safe and sound eventually. That marked the end of the adventure-for-the-day. We actually managed to visit several main places before the city rests for the day, with the most memorable part of the trip being the unscheduled long walk through the path that ran alongside this lake/river/creek...

This academic year is drawing to a close soon, and the weather in the day is just turning warm to the point of being hot...Summer's properly here! I actually didn't feel irritated (as many ppl ard were..heh..u sld hear the whinings =D it was quite amusing hearing them actually) by the sweltering heat and dripping sweat...it feels good to be able to feel the sun again! If the weather would remain so for the rest of the time I'm going to be here, that'll be great...but nearing the evening, the wind got stronger and the little bit of heat eminating from our little bbq pit wasn't strong enough to keep us warm, so we finally packed up and left, though not before we shared a few leng3 xiao4 hua4..haha...as if we weren't freezing enough shivers. =p

She sees it more clearly now, what is it that she should do, should want...thus the angel came floating back to earth, back onto solid ground...where dreams take on a different perspective...
