"Men dream more about coming home than about leaving," the boy said. He was already accustomed to (the) desert's silence.

"If what one finds is made of pure matter, it will never spoil. And one can always come back. If what you had found was only a moment of light, like the explosion of a star, you would find nothing on your return."

Been looking out for some community work to get involved in even before coming home, and by chance, I sighted upon the advert for the SHINE project. Shall see what I can do about it.

Hope that this Summer vacation would be a fulfilling one. Both in the things I do and the company I do it with.

Back in the familiar embrace of home, family and friends, I wonder how much has changed. But it feels good to be back. To be able to put aside a little of that rather heavy burden of responsibility that comes with being fully independent in a foreign land and just enjoy the security and comfort of home for a while.
