The news article featuring what must be one of the most talked-about news in the Malayan region currently has affected me enough to post this entry today.

Again, it took another major national happening to rock me out of the narrow box of a world I sometimes cramp myself in, and begin to think more and feel for the wider world out there.

It's heartening to see the strong faith and support the people of Malaysia and elsewhere in the region have for the PM. It's also heartwarming to read about the kind of bond this national figure share with his 'No.1 supporter and soulmate' in his private life. 40 years and numerous experiences later, the feelings they share have not diminished one bit but had gradually strengthened rather. I respect the balance he sought in his life and the resoluteness he displayed in the face of adversity as befitting a public figure of his stature.

I know that he'll be able to pull through this difficult phase in his life eventually, given the kind of character and faith he's made of. (From what the article mentioned)
