Even as I type this entry now, it's already late afternoon back home.
The little island must have been buzzing with electrifying excitement today
For those who voted, I wonder how you felt
Even though my PS lecturer had been skeptical about the entire process of voting
And we've even been taught about the irrationality of going to the polls
based on marginal utilities
But I'm sure it matters, somehow
All those votes of confidence, in a sea of decisions
All hopes and future pinned on the position of the cross
on that single slip of paper
Let this be a start to a more involved and engaged and active society

Hey Hey ade... my thoughts are constantly back in singapore too. it's 8.08pm in spore now.. voting time has officially ended, counting begins. Imagine the raised heartbeats across the country!
Haha..zj! This must be one of the fastest rely to a comment here you can get =) Esp counting the fact that my earlier reply was shutdown by my com before I could publish it.
Yups. It's inevitable that we think more about home now that the time to return is nearing. But I really hope that we'll remember how this 'absence makes the heart grow fonder' feeling feels like years down the road after we've returned for good. It's sad how things can be easily taken for granted sometimes, isn't it?
And yesss...it'll be pretty exciting to see what all these renewed interest in politics lead to post-polling. Whatever the outcome, it'll surely be headlines pretty soon!
Hey just wondering..would you have gone down to london to vote if u were eligible?
Hmmmm.. why suddenly ask that? Thankfully we don ever have to.. at least not for the forseeable future. It really depends i think! If i have an exam like the weekend after maybe i won. then again i dont know what the consequences are!! so tell me, and i'll make up my mind then. haha
